I always carry my sketchbook with me to capture moments that I will cherish forever. These sketches are quick and very intuitive, created in a short period of time, usually between 20 and 30 minutes. It’s a great way to gather ideas for future projects and make memories.

Autumn lights (Nov 2023)
This is a page from my sketchbook with wildflowers I found in a nearby meadow. Love to observe and learn more about these plants, which can be easily overlooked, being so common.
Recently my primary focus became the beautiful wildflowers. Whenever I go for a walk, I just stop to admire them or take a photo and get to know their names. This is Herb Robert, with cute little flowers and an unpleasant smell. (May 2023)
The more attention I pay to wildflowers, the more beauty I discover around me. Here I'm playing with Purple Dead Nettle and Green Alkanet. (Apr 2023)

I found this rose on the street. It stayed with me for months, but now it has lost its colours completely, so we said farewell. I painted it so I could cherish this memory. It reminds me of the fox's story from Little Prince. (28 Nov 2022)

I'm giving myself time to experiment with autumn leaves. They are the perfect subject to try new colours, line techniques and brush strokes. Just enjoying every moment of this autumn. (Nov 2022)
There is a charming place somewhere in the middle of the forest. These stone steps lead to a tiny shed surrounded by a beech forest at the back and morello cherry and plum trees at the front. (Oct 2022)
Quince season means autumn has arrived. Harvesting the last pieces of plums and peppers and picking the last apples from the tree. Geraniums and friends are still going strong before winter storing. Freshly caught wild trout from the local river, laying on a tray before being prepared as home-made sushi. (Oct 2022)
This was the first time I swapped the pen with some twigs I found in the nearby park. Love how these tiny tips produce more organic lines than pens. Drawing this way feels deliberating. 🙃 📌 Trinity College, Cambridge (9 Sep 2022)

It's like makeup. Just way better. 😆 Thrilled with #holbein quality. My first artist grade watercolour set ever. (10 Aug 2022)
These cute elephants were the perfect subject to play with complementaries. They are handmade in Thailand and produced using recycled offcuts from the garment industry. ♻️ 🐘 (29 Jul 2022)

Being a plant lover myself, I think it would be a great idea to draw my plants from time to time. Not because they are great still models, but because I can track their changes. I drew this about half a year ago; they have changed a lot since then. (Apr 2021)
